Hello
Alistair Rutherford is a writer for the screen, stage and BBC radio.
He has written professionally for 20 years and over that time has received commissions from Cinescapes, BBC Radio 4, Radio Scotland, BBC TV, Ko Lik Film, Encaptivate Film, Storymix (Sweden) and the Stroke Association UK.
He gained an MA in Screenwriting from Screen Academy Scotland in 2006.
He writes original stories as well as working closely with producers and directors to develop their projects for film or theatre.
Alistair has successfully adapted novels for film and stage and writes across a range of genres, including fast-paced thrillers, science fiction epics, romantic comedies and historical dramas.
He was a member of the writing team for CBBC & Ko Lik Film's "OOglies", which won a Children's BAFTA in November 2015.
The writing is bright, perky, observant, with an occasional shimmer of pure conjuror’s magic.
